BLADE RUNNER:
NOWHERE TO HIDE
Short Film
It's not everyday you get the chance to add to the canon of an iconic film, but in 2017, I had the opportunity to do exactly that.
My partner and I worked with visionary director Ridley Scott's production company to expand upon the world of Blade Runner, in advance of the sequel. Blade Runner 2049 is set thirty years after the original film, leaving a sizable distance in story that needed to be addressed. Our challenge was to bridge this gap and introduce central characters and events to filmgoers in advance of the new film’s theatrical release.
I scripted this action-packed prologue short that expands upon Dave Batista's character and ultimately sets the events of the film in motion.
